Factory Accountant

To monitor and prepare reports that track factory performance. To liaise with Operational personnel to drive continual improvement within the site, and to maintain and improve financial controls to ensure fiscal integrity

Main tasks and responsibilites

Completion of daily/weekly/monthly operational KPIs

Reconcile and report on daily/weekly/monthly labour and efficiency performance

Maintaining and improving financial control systems

Ensure balance sheet integrity by monthly reconciliations

Monitor profit improvement performance on a weekly basis

Monitor operational project performance on a weekly and monthly basis

Maintenance of fixed asset register, producing weekly P&L to FD & site Director

Respond to ad-hoc reporting requirements of site and group

Ad-hoc project work

Provide support, cover and assistance for FC and Cost Accountant

Prior experience

Qualified Accountant, or part qualified Accountant

Exceptional IT and system skills

Be willing to undertake any necessary training to achieve the required competencies and job objectives.
